Is the light manually operated or does it come on automatically when low light is detected. Really is it just an ordinary light which is fixed inside the tunnel and turned on and off from a wall switch ?

unfortunately we cannot have a sun tunnel but could we have this light tunnel kit to give us overhead light and could it be a daylight type?
