Acrypol Acrylic Waterproof Coating
Acrypol is an industry leading product which is designed to create a waterproof layer for flat roofs and many other applications including slate work, flashings, chimney stacks, and more. It is recognised as the original acrylic-based resin waterproof coating for repairing cracks and preventing leaks from wet weather, having been on the market for over 30 years.
Acrypol waterproof roof coating is easy to apply, as it comes ready to use as a semi-liquid paste and does not need to be mixed with any additives or water – you can simply paste it onto your application and wait for it to dry. (Just bear in mind that it can take up to 48 hours to fully cure). Despite its ease of use, it is still established as a long-term waterproofing solution, and is available in 2.5kg buckets which are perfect for small repairs, or 5kg and 20kg for larger projects where the entire application needs to be coated.
Another benefit of applying Acrypol is that it can be pasted on during damp conditions – meaning it can be used at your convenience, drying to a hard and durable, but flexible overlay. It is available in black, grey, and white to perfectly match your existing applications or suit how you’d like your finished result to look. We also stock fibre free Acrypol, which is better suited to smaller repairs as it does not contain the fibres which reinforce its strength, but it still provides a seamless, durable finish.
