FILON offers a comprehensive range of profiled rooflights and sheets that meet the weight requirements for Class C and Class B non-fragile ratings as per ACR(M)001:2011. These products come in more than 900 different profiles, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of asbestos cement and metal roofing profiles, both current and discontinued.
Crafted from glass reinforced polyester resin (GRP), FILON GRP roof sheets can be used in various applications, including single skin and double skin site assembly. When needed, they can be combined with insulating intermediate layers to enhance insulation levels and comply with up-to-date regulations and legislation.
The FILON roof sheets exhibit outstanding impact resistance and come with a highly durable UV resistant polyester film on the weather face. This film limits any yellowing that may occur due to UV exposure, as well as extends the sheet's working life for lifespan of at least 30 years in normal conditions.
FILON Translucent rooflights incorporate special light diffusing additives. These additives disperse the light that passes through, ensuring a uniform distribution of daylight without any concentrated hot spots or bothersome glare.
