This VELUX Solar window is designed for pitched roofs of between 15° and 90° and features three slim-profiled sashes within a single frame, making it more economical than buying three separate VELUX roof windows. The solar PV cell is positioned on the outer frame of the GGLS and will allow you to operate your windows via a pre-paired wall switch. This device makes this window the ideal choice for homes with high ceilings or when installed in areas that are hard to get to, and manual operation is not possible.
Whilst the middle of the three sashes is fixed, you can open the two roof windows on either side, manually or remotely, to flood your home with fresh air and ensure a comfortable and healthy living space. VELUX's GGLS 3-in-1 system includes an intelligent rain sensor, which detects rainfall. This smart technological feature will automatically cause your windows to close, protecting your room from becoming wet or damaged if nobody is around to shut them.
