With all components you need for a complete installation, this VELUX smoke ventilation system comes with a smoke sensor, break glass point and wall control unit (KFX 210) as well as an EDL flashing kit which is suitable for use with flat roofing materials up to 8mm thick such as slate, roofing felt and membranes.
The VELUX smoke ventilation window is specifically engineered to promptly release excess heat and smoke while adhering to all EU regulations. It has the capacity to swiftly open to a full fire position in only 60 second upon initiation of the smoke ventilation process. It can perform multiple functions including automatic opening of the window for safety purposes or simply allowing fresh air to circulate for enhanced indoor comfort.
Equipped with double glazing, the VELUX sloped roof window provides several benefits such as a laminated inner pane for safety purposes which prevents glass from falling into the room in the case of breakage, a toughened outer pane that offers added strength and resilience against external environmental factors and a UV filter which protects your furnishings from the sun's harmful UV radiation which can cause fading.
