The top control bar makes operation easy and effective, while the ventilation filter prevents insects and dust from getting in.
For easy and seamless operation, VELUX roof windows include high-quality pivot hinges. The red and blue line bracket system is simple so that you can identify standard and recessed installations, and the ventilation flap lets in fresh air despite windows being firmly shut. In order to ease cleaning of the outer pane, this window can be rotated 180° and secured with an in-built barrel bolt.
Three layer (68) noise reduction glazing is a VELUX standard glazing option. It consists of safety lamination to prevent broken glass from falling inside your home, as well as strong toughened glass to resist force from external factors. The rain noise reduction ensures peace and tranquillity, while the UV filter stops furnishings from fading when exposed to the sun. With even better energy efficiency than double glazing, it limits the cold seeping through windows in winter months. It offers sound insulation of 35dB.
