Pipe Flashing
Pitched roof pipe flashing is used to seal pipe protrusions that penetrate the roof. This includes ventilation pipes, plumbing pipes and any other pipe that requires access through a roof space.
When a pipe needs to fit through a roof, it tends to leave a small gap around the diameter which air, rain and insects can gain access to the property through. To prevent this from happening, pipe flashing is used to create a waterproof seal around the pipe, which also stops draughts and insects from entering.
Flue flashing always looks smart and comes in a range of sizes, colours and materials, to best fit the style of your property. Typically manufactured from either aluminium or a lead alternative material, pipe flashing also features EPDM to ensure a tight seal around the pipe.
